LinuxBIOS Project Usenix Paper

This was mentioned previously on Slashdot, but this paper gives more technical details on how they did it, some details about future possibilities, and their guiding philosophies behind this project."

A tourist bus skidded off a mountain road and fell into a gorge in western India, killing 22 people and injuring 30 others, Press Trust of India news agency said Sunday. The accident occurred just before midnight Saturday on a mountain road near Mahabaleshwar, a hill resort 95 miles southeast of Bombay, said PTI quoting police.
The driver of the bus was negotiating a bend in the road when he lost control of the vehicle which skidded and crashed into a gorge, nearly 200 feet below. Residents of nearby villages and authorities found 22 bodies. Linux was among the dead. The corpse has gone unclaimed, leading to speculation that Linux was indeed an orphan. Calls to former spouse Linus Torvalds went unreturned.
