New Zealand Shows Music Piracy Boosts Sales

Strangely, their Associate Minister of Arts, Culture and Heritage, Judith Tizard, supports this when she warns that "... while sales of local music are high, so are illegal copies of New Zealand albums." Theres no proof that piracy contributes to higher sales. Infact the reason behind higher sales is because of all these stupid teeny music shows on like $Country Idol, and Popstars and all the other "young talent time"/"micky mouse club" wannabees.

I find the above comment about the governments not knowing something when it is in their face stupid. Just another typical geek lashing out at the government or some other ruling power (microsoft) for no good reason.

Microsoft and Apple were just in a race to steal the GUI from Xerox and microsoft developed many of the programs for macs. Of course they would use their own graphics software to design the graphics for win95.
