GoneGaryT writes "The BBC is running a cool article - strapping your digital camera to a kite and doing D.I.Y. aerial photography. Examples of suitable kites can be found here. Anyone want to try this from the top of an apartment building in London or NY? A pretty accessible pastime, so long as you can afford to lose the lot in a sudden gust!" High-res digital cameras have come down somewhat in price since the last time we mentioned this.

    The unholy faggot heathen Slashdot "editors" (read: homosexual article blog janitors) have aparently made Slashdot be able to selectively not show particular posts that are above score 3. Case in point: This article. Now, generally a plain link to an article with lots of posts will only show the contents of score 4 or 5 posts in full, and only show the subject lines of the others. But BEHOLD: This post in that very same article is the first reply to the FIRST POST, is SCORE 4, and DOES NOT SHOW ON DEFAULT VIEW! Gee, why is that? Maybe because the censorship-happy Slashdot editors deemed that subject line to be not in alignment with the typical Slashdot groupthink, so lets only show it when you choose to view at threshold -1.

    So in essence if ANYTHING doesn't fit the twisted, geekaholic viewpoint of the Slashbot staff no matter how it is rated, it may be subject to the land of -1. Just think of this the next time they post a "Your Rights Online" article whining about oppression or something similar. These faggot "editors" are just as guilty as the assholes they accuse (if not more so).
