A small piece of eGovernment in motion, but appearing in stark prominence at this moment in time. Technically, in the UK we are subjects of the Queen, not citizens of the state. Once, we did have a civil war and abolished the monarchy, but eventually had it back. In that respect, we are fairly unique among western European nations.
