Season 2 Premiere of Red vs Blue

brent_linux writes "Red VS Blue, winner of several awards, has started up their second season. If you missed their first season you can pick up the DVD from their online store. To view the high quality videos you have to donate money to the cause, but like before you can view the lower quality ones for free."

    Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. I went to the site linked in the article (this should not be necessary JUST TO GET A FUCKING IDEA OF WHAT AN ARTICLE ON SLASHDOT IS GOING TO BE ABOUT) and after trying to load the incredibly slow pages half a dozen times, finally got it up. Then spent another five minutes trying to get their FAQ to load.

    Their FAQ is incredibly childish and almost totally devoid of useful information. For example, the first question and answer is:

    Q: What the hell?
    A: Yeah, we know.

    The only thing at all on their site that seems to describe what is going on is *one* of the very short FAQ answers which says that it is "machinima", which I guess is where they fire up Quake3 or Unreal or something on a LAN and act out parts of a story, capture it to a demo file and then put it online.

    Sounds fucking retarded if you ask me, but whatever.
