Pinky3 writes "The Sunday New York Times Magazine has a long article entitled The Tyranny of Copyright? Views of both supporters of CopyLeft (Lessig and Zittrain) and Copyright (Ginsberg and Goldstein) are laid out. The article constrasts the cultural commons to the 'permission culture" and covers the unintended consequences of various US laws passed long ago." Dear NYT editors: "Copy Left" really shouldn't have a space in it. Thanks.

    I am a straight hispanic male. I am 19 years old and was sent to jail about 2 yrs. ago, but I am now free. It happened about 3 nites after i got there. I was approached by 4 men, black men.     I find that Canada is more like a third world country in a number of ways:
    - government steals of working people, and the money is spent on politically-correct (=socialist) projects that usually fail;
    - working? stupid!
    - banking system that is utterly, utterly, oldfashioned. Cheques? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
    - thought-dictatorship just around the corner; say taboo word (even in a positive context) and people stare at you - fear, fear, fear!
    - law is about to pass, allowing gays to have sex with 12year old boys (hello - WAKE up: this means sticking their XXXX into those childrens' YYYY).

    Yes. A truly great country.
