Boot Windows Faster, Using Linux

BiOFH writes "TechNewsWorld is reporting that InterVideo has a solution for slow boot times runing Windows XP MCE. 'The new Linux-based InstantOn software -- designed to help Windows XP Media Center Edition PCs boot more quickly -- is aimed at taking advantage of the power of Intel's Pentium processors, not at fixing fragmented hard drives. The software integrates into the computer's BIOS and the operating system.'" According to this article, the software uses a small Linux partition on the user's hard drive. I wonder how BIOSes with hard-wired Microsoft-based DRM would cooperate with this scheme.

    Oh yeah, back in 2000 I went to a George W. Bush election victory party and all these really fucking old people were snorting cocaine and, like, having group sex on the floors. I was told that group sex and drug abuse was standard practice for Bush supporters and that if I didn't like it, I would be sent to guantanamo bay to be tortured. Once I discovered that Bush himself set the standard for high school drug abuse and sexual antics, I realized that the GOP was the party for me! GEORGE BUSH IS JESUS!

    even the reasonable moderates like Lieberman and Edwards.No troll this is a fact.They keep it quiet when speaking to "Mistuh Charlie" but you can easily confirm this is fact on the net.Mod me what you like but this is true Vote Democrat Vote for an $8,000,000 "study" to pay reparations for slavery and racial discrimination.This study is not about whether they should be paid but how they will be paid.All Dems support affirmative action as well.I bet even you crackers that go along with that draw the line at reparations though.I'm off-topic as hell but 100% correct....prove me wrong motherfuckers.
