Intel Shifting 64-bit Plans

OS24Ever writes "News.com has an article stating that 'Intel plans to demonstrate a 64-bit revamp of its Xeon and Pentium processors in mid-February--an endorsement of a major rival's strategy and a troubling development for Intel's Itanium chip' Is this the end of Itanium?" Looks like the rumors were true.

Hello, and THINK ABOUT YOUR BREATHING

Yes that's right, THINK ABOUT YOUR BREATHING. Why you might ask? Well it's simple!

Your brain usually takes care of breathing FOR you, but whenever you remember this, YOU MUST MANUALLY BREATH! If you don't you will DIE.

There are also MANY variations of this. For example, think about:

    1. BLINKING!

    1. SWALLOWING SALIVA!

    1. HOW YOUR FEET FEEL IN YOUR SOCKS!

In conclusion, the THINK ABOUT YOUR BREATHING troll is simply unbeatable. These 4 words can be thrown randomly into article text trolls, into sigs, into anything, and once seen, WILL FORCE THE VICTIM TO TAKE CARE OF HIS BREATHING MANUALLY! This goes far beyond the simple annoying or insulting trolls of yesteryear.

In fact, by EVEN RESPONDING to this troll, you are proving that IT HAS CLAIMED ANOTHER VICTIM -- YOU!

be-fan, I tend to like what you have to say. You're usually interesting and I enjoy your comments. However, would you please start using standard Slashdot quoting conventions? It's very hard to tell where your words start and end when you use "---" as a separator, particularly when you have several interleaved blocks of text.

Instead, would you be so kind as to wrap the text your quoting in tags, and use
to set off the individual paragraphs? It'd make your comments a lot easier to read.

let me be the first to say that Microsoft is busy porting Longhorn to the Apple G5! Remember that intern that was fired for taking that picture of all those G5s getting unloaded at Microsoft? Well, now we know - since Intel is dragging on 64 bits, MS is going PowerPC!

All the rumors add up, if you drink this sour milk I found in the fridge.

BTW, I love Slashdot's new color scheme of rainbows and sunshine music.
