IETF Approves XMPP Core as Proposed Standard

hystrix writes "As long expected, the IESG has approved the Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP): Core (draft-ietf-xmpp-core-22.txt) as a Proposed Standard. For those of you in the dark, thats the protocol behind the only tried and proven open IM platform, Jabber. Congrats to the hard working Peter Saint-Andre, and the entire XMPP Working Group."

    Admit it, you just don't play it because you all suck at it. That's the only reason Americans invent and play any game; no one else but Americans gives a rats ass about American Football, Baseball or Basketball. You can't suck at a bunch of games if you're the only ones who want to play them, and you can even make up the rules as you go along.

    Letting the girls play "Soccer" just makes you feel better about it; it doesn't matter if you suck at it because it's a Girls game.

    You suck at Football, you suck at Rugby (Whoo boy did you suck at Rugby), there arn't any Americans who can suck at Formula One (Come on! There are Japanese drivers for fucks sake!)..you suck at everything really don't you?
