Online Gaming for Couples?
psuedo_samurai asks: "My longtime girlfriend recently had to move to complete her studies at a University, which is nowhere near where I live. Talking on the phone is quickly becoming old, as I'm a typical guy and hate being on the phone longer than 3 minutes, but I try. So I was thinking - I like games, she likes to talk, why not combine the two? So are there any online games suggested for couples using a headset? I can't see Counter-Strike or Rainbow Six working, but I was thinking maybe DDR Ultramix on Xbox Live? How about PC titles with headset support? Any suggestions?"
To be honest, if you can't find more to talk about with an absent girlfriend for more than three minutes, your relationship has far worse problems than what kind of game to play. If you don't have enough interest in really talking with her about things that matter, lack of an idea about an online game is going to be the least of your concerns. She's going to be gone before long if your question is really indicative of your communication with her.
Have you tried not being fat?
Cool, she is into geeks and she is about to be single. What University is she at?
Saying Java is nice because it works on all OS's is like saying that anal sex is nice because it works on all genders.
He's likley just better looking than you or me. There's some kind of mass delusion out there, so mass that even women seem to have fallen for it themselves, that first and foremost they're looking for someone they get along with and like to talk to. That's shit. They're first and foremost looking for a mate the same as any man looking for a nice pair of tits is. For both sexes there's exceptions to the rule of course, and variations of intensity for those who don't break the rule - but the vast majority of men and women are looking for no more in a partner than a dog or a cat is searching for in theirs, no matter what we try to delude ourselves with.
"How come this guy has a girlfriend and I don't?"
He has a better imagination.
"Derp de derp."
You are so wrong man... girls are initially attracted to confidence and precieved social status. Looks don't hurt, but they aren't as important as we guys tend to think.
