Kids Improve Writing Online
aelfric35 writes "Ben Franklin advised his son not to allow schooling to interfere with his education. Even though many have disparaged the effects of IM on schoolchildrens' prose, some kids are actually becoming better writers by participating in online communities. Henry Jenkins writes in MIT's Technology Review about how some kids are gaining writing and editorial experience far beyond what their schools can offer by participating in Harry Potter fan fiction forums (sorry about the alliteration)."
Writing may improve, but def not speling :)
I grew up online. Look at me. I'm a loser. Or maybe not. I've been on line since grade school, and now i'm in my fourth year of university. Doesn' relly matter. I've harassed about 219 girls at the bar tonight, didn't score though. I have about 50% successs rate at this bar I go to. Tonight is one of the not nights. I brought one home last week though. The point is, ..hmm.. what is the point., i frget,, too much weed and booze.. The point is.. don't worry about it, you'll get laid with persistance. It works fr me, it hoould wourk for you too! :) later dude..
