'Mouse-Tronaughts' to Test Low-Gravity in Space

RandBlade writes "The Telegraph has an article about plans to launch mice into space with simulated low-gravity for five weeks, to test the effects of low-gravity on their bodies. This "will be the first time mammals of any kind have lived in partial gravity for an extended period." Hopes are that this will provide information useful for plans to launch men to Mars, which has one-third of the gravity of Earth."

NASA is all about building better killing machines for the military. That has always been their primary purpose. Well, I'm sick of the war-mongering.

If going to Mars means putting better weapons in the hands of the US military, then I don't think we should do it.

Hard to be a real pilot when you are AWOL. Likewise, getting a harvard MBA is no big deal iff you can back it up with plenty of money.

I find it funny that you are worried about attacks on us, when we lost 6 american lives here in the USA under Clinton, while we lost 3000 under W. . Likewise, the loses international keep mounting under W. But the good news is he is helping with Population control.

Yeah, guys with MBAs sure make excellent astronauts. They can micromanage all the others up there and disturb the experiments with questions like "when will it be done?".
