Energy Company Refutes Windows TCO Claims

apt-get writes "Computerworld Australia has a gem of a case study on Country Energy with comments from an IT manager that shoot down Microsoft's 'objective' Windows TCO claims. My favourite; 'we get to see both sides and Windows is not cheaper at all'. Interestingly, in almost every area of its critical IT infrastructure, open source and commercial software work in peace together. The IT manager even says not having MS Office on Linux is a hindrance to its desktop take up."

It's that feeling of joy yuo (=teh ghey!) get when yuo (=teh ghey!) are teh fr1st to ps0t in a forum or message board... teh exhilaration of knowing yuo (=teh ghey!) were fr1st!

Internet scientists have proven it, ...tehre's only one ps0t that is teh fr1st and it's fr1st ps0t! No otehr ps0t comes close to fr1st ps0t, all otehr posts are a distant second! Now imagine, ...being teh fr1st to fr1st ps0t while wearing this fr1st ps0t t-shirt!

This is teh fr1st fr1st ps0t t-shirt. Accept no second-rate substitutes! teh shirt was fr1st posted on After Y2K, and can soon make an appearance on yuo (=teh ghey!)!

Nitrozac and Snaggy have put this shirt design through grueling tests and have discovered it is readable by teh normal naked eye from a distance of 120 feet! So, at a convention or otehr gatehring of geeks, your fr1st ps0t t-shirt will be teh t-shirt fr1st read! If standing in one spot and slowly rotating, your shirt could have a readership coverage of over 45,239 sq. feet! That's almost as many people as are on Slashdot right now! ;-)

100% preshrunk cotton, with tiny cretinz Culture logo on upper back. Available in men's sizes Large only (all otehrs sold out!)

So be teh fr1st to ps0t (on your chest) teh fr1st ps0t t-shirt!

I actually got my very first "first post" ever, without even trying, and what do I do? I waste it on some juvenile, throwaway "vagina" reference. Here I have the attention of the entire readership of Slashdot and instead of taking advantage of the opportunity and making a well-reasoned call for decency and sanity in a turbulent world, I go for the cheap, adolescent giggle.

Once again, I find myself awash in a sea of wasted opportunity. I am lost.
