Mythica MMORPG Cancelled By Microsoft

Ivan writes "Microsoft announced that it has cancelled Mythica, its internally developed massively multiplayer PC RPG with a Nordic twist. The official website has the formal cancellation announcement, but additionally, 1UP spoke with MS reps who gave a few more details, noting 'the company had two MMORPG projects in development -- Mythica, and an as-yet-unannounced title. Rather than support the development and eventual maintenance of two MMORPGs in an already crowded and highly competitive market, Microsoft cancelled Mythica to make room for its other game.'"

They should focus on XBox 2 anyway. MMORPGs are queer anyway.

Microsoft usually just releases software half-done and lets the market kill it. Bob, anyone?

I'd say it would be nice if they'd release the source so people could mod it...

But, that'll happen about the same time MS donates to Linux developement. LMAO

Sucks to see code go to waste, ohh wait....

Hi everyone, I am a 40-year old gay black man who has been touring with the *GREAT* 8) Justing "His HOtness" Timberlake as his part-time keyboardist and backup dancer. Just last weekend we had done a show Minneapolis and it had lasted a little longer than usual (the crowd just couldn't get e'nuff of Justin -- Can you blame them????) and we were all sitting around the dressing room after the show, exhausted but still basking in the glow of another great performance! ... Well, everyone was kinda loose and just foolin' around, cracking jokes, you know, having a good time. Well, Justin got up and just started doing an impromptu rendition of "Rock your Body", all hot and sexy (such IntENsiTY!!). And, I just couldn't help myself, I jumped up there (okay, we had been drinking cosmos and long islands, but anyways) and started dancing with him!! And he was laughing and turned around and grinded with me, and I said, "oh Justin, I can feel your package!". .... And he got all pissed and called me a faggy!!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG the great Justin Timberlake called me a faggy!! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

Don't you hate when you're buying some good from the grocery store and the impulse buy section has those magazines like "People" and they're always covered with the latest "controversy", and right now it's the Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson, with headlines like "Have celebrities gone too far?". Do you know what's gone too far? Consumeristic shit like these crappy magazines. My point is, parent isn't so much trolling as he his making people think about how stupid "pop" culture is, and their icons.
