Solaris 10 to be Released Late in 2004

ptolemu writes "The Register has the scoop on Sun's latest iteration of Solaris. The article includes some details of the new and improved features that will be included in the OS. The OS is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2004."

    Solaris is looking better everyday. Enterprises who use it can rest easy knowing that they won't be sued. Now that we know without a doubt that Linux contains SCO code, it seems that Solaris might be the future.

    I think they should switch the product name to Sun OS X (or at least SolarisX), and FINALLY make the switch to a unix-like OS.
