Yes, BSD licensed software is good - that is truly open source. The GPL, on the other hand, is of questionable value. It was written by some hippy without a legal education and affects such an air of pomposity that you suspect the author is a long-winded, pompous SOB in love with his own mutterings.

give me the straightforward BSD license any day.

Unless you are trying to describe something completely new or you don't otherwise know of an existing word then making up a new word is completely stupid.

Obviously "computer" exists in some form or another in several languages. Use one of those dumbasses! Too many idiots have complicated things enough as it is.
