Brits Still Working on Stinky Email

prostoalex writes "British Internet provider Telewest Broadband is testing a system, which allows people to attach specific smells to their e-mail. It works with air freshener cartridge that one plugs into PC. The technology is developed by a US-based company Trisenx, which features the products and pricing on its Web site. A 20-channel serial port device costs $269, the same price for optional software package allowing the user to author specific smells. The replacement cartridges are $48 each." They're hardly the first attempt at adding smell to the computer experience. Digiscent didn't work out so well.

I'm going to spell this out for you now, and after it is proven, I will reference this post.

E-Rock is a chick. She's posting with a dude's name, signing with manly ASCII art and rhetorical questions, because she knows you fools will mod her up. Just because you homosexual wonders think she's actually male and that your mod points entitles you to a chance.

Unfortunately, it will work. It always does. When the account has some real nice karma going for it, it will be troll after troll. And you'll cry into the last tissue from your bedside box of kleenex, most of which was used up while thinking about how you may one day meet E-Rock.
