NASA Open Source License Still Up For Discussion

Russ Nelson writes "There's been plenty of heated discussion about the NASA Open Source License, but although the OSI board approved five licenses and sent back seven, the NASA License is still up in the air, so to speak, hehe."

    By GPLing the source code, its like asking a person to write an operating system without a computer to test it on.

    It's not like average joe is going to have an identical international space station at their disposal.

    The only reason why the "people" want it to be GPLed is because they want everything in life to be free. it's quite obvious that most people who say "great idea" are only happy of the idea of the GPL being supported. they havn't even thought it through.

    god you gpl freaks are something. i cant wait for OSS to be labeled as the "open source bust" like the .com bust.

    If you do not know when it is appropriate to use "utilize" rather than "use" then you should just not use "utilize", dammit!
