MS and Sendmail work together on Spam Solution

fudgefactor7 writes "Powerhouse software vendor Microsoft and the venerable Sendmail, have formed an alliance to launch a sender authentication plug-in which is hoped will combat email fraud and spam. The plug-in lets organisations verify a message's source before accepting it by automatically checking to see if an email came from where it claims it did. Could this be a sign of the beginning of the end of spam?" Update: 02/26 08:01 GMT by S : Though Microsoft and Sendmail are both working on solutions, there's no official alliance in place between the companies.

Linux is NOT an insecure OS you nutsack. In fact, that supposed report was bought and paid for by Microsoft under the table. Microsoft Windows is far more open to security exploits by the simple fact that it was designed to be easy to use. The whole idea of an OS where the end users are the primary focus is just a stupid and idiotic idea. Computers are inherently complicated machines and any attempt to simplify them while retaining flexibility is going to result in dismal failures like Windows. The Macintosh didn't fail because they realized that to be easy to use, they had to restrict flexibility. On the other hand, Linux and by extension it's lineage Unix, are harder to use because they are incredibly flexible. SO here's the breakdown for you you dimwit shithole:

    1. Microsoft Windows - Inflexible, insecure, and friendly to no one except the bottom feeders.
    2. Mac OS 1-10 - Inflexible, secure, incredibly easy to use as long as you are a normal user.
    3. Linux/*NIX - Extremely flexible, robust, secure, stable, and somewhat difficult for lamers. If you are a real technical user, *nix is not hard.

So stop rimming Bill Gates and his MS empire with your tongue and learn something about a real OS if you dare. Mac OS or Linux are the only secure, robust OSes on the market today and Linux has the benefit of being open and free. SCO is a bunch of greedy fuckers who will go down in flames and I will dance on their graves when they do.

    Fuck you you fucking asshole.
