Atari Gets Combat Redux Results, Indy 500 Challenge
Thanks for AtariAge for its article the winners of its Combat Redux playfield design contest, since judges have now "chosen the 28 playfields that will be included in the Combat Redux binary and the cartridge", following a previously covered competition to create the best play areas for the unofficial Atari 2600 remake. Elsewhere, AtariAge has also launched an Indy 500 XE track design competition, utilizing an "easy-to-use Windows-based track editor" in order to "allow everyone a chance at creating tracks that might be included in a cartridge version of Indy 500 XE", an unofficial update of the classic Atari 2600 cart.
