Ford Testing a New 'Traffic Monitoring' Device

Poletown writes "The Detroit Free Press put out this article today about a new vehicle based 'traffic monitoring' system that Ford is testing. It will report your speed, the road temperature, whether or not your wipers/headlights are active, and even if you've used your anti-lock brakes. Initially, the system will be tested on Ford-owned and municipal vehicles."

I would think it'd be more difficult to get 6th post than first. Well done.

Please join me in remembering a great icon of the Entertainment community.

The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and complication from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.

Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and CaptainCrunch. The gravesite was piled high with flours. Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded.

Doughboy rose quickly in showbusiness, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times he still was a crusty old man and was considered a roll model for millions.

Doughboy is survived by his wife, Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop-Tart.

The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

"Senator Ashcroft is so far out of the mainstream that he has said citizens need to be armed in order to protect themselves against a tyrannical government"

There seems to be two schools of thought at work, one endorsing protection from the government, and the other endorsing protection by the government. I wish I knew which one was mainstream.
