It's kinda weird that since 9/11 attack our president enacted the patriot act
and homeland security. It's also strange that we are still plagued by shipments
of heroin from Afghanistan.
It would only take one small hit of heroin tainted with ebola virus or bubonic
plague, etc. to wipe out lots of us.
Yet, our Prez lets the stuff through our borders, on planes, trains, ships, and
automobiles.
Bush family evidentely has bought stock in afghani agriculture, (opium), since
he decided not to
interfere with Afghan's drug production.

M$ crashed - again - two hours ago. I now run Knoppix from CD.
As much as I thoroughly HATE and DESPISE M$, I cannot use Linux yet because my SuSe 90 (and Lindows, and Lycos) do not recognize my scanner and my modem, and because CUPS is terribly slow. Also M$'s software is better.
So, here I go again, installing that utter crap again. I will now increase my backup frequency to once in three days.
CALL TO LINUX COMMUNITY: YOHOOOO - WAKE UP and start making good software for Joe Sixpacks once. And plllleeeeeeeaaazzzz - try to 'finish' your software once. Do that - and I'm a Linux user!!!
