Mr. Bush continues to imply that we should be scared because we're not safe, so we need to keep him to protect our national security. Which seems like a weird contradiction. If he's so good at protecting us, why aren't we safe?

I'd cut a hatch and add a latch and some hinges so I could access the engine compartment. I like doing my own minor maintenance and repairs. Of course this would probably void the warranty.
Reminds me of my new ActionTec router modem. First thing I did when I got it was hook it up and telnet into it. There is a rich telnet interface to ActionTec R1524SU DSL router/modem. Then I noticed that the telnet interface was not documented in the pdf manual or on the ActionTec website. So I called the 1-800 tech support number, and got some guy in India who didn't know what to do (so much for outsourcing), so he escalated my call to 2nd tier tech support. I called THAT number, and got a techie in the United States who said "There is no documentation for the telnet interface, and if you telnet into the router/modem, you will void the warranty." Now that's about the STUPIDEST thing I've ever heard anybody say, and I told him so. Then I asked, "what if a cracker or packet kiddie telnets into my router... does that void the warranty?". He didn't have an answer for that, so I hung up on him.

...the RIAA will start selling CDs in their own CD Player each, with no possibility to open it....your next stove will only cook one type of meal....you will not be able to paint the walls of your own house....posting comments in/. will be a violation of the DMCA.
Sure, welding your car hood shut might suck, but I think that a bigger problem would be if somebody tried to sew my pants (flyless) to my skin while I was wearing them.

So, while time is spent sqabbling over this Volvo diversion, ask yourself this...
With no access to illuminata's goods, where will your future come from?
According to recent scientific studies, a whopping 63% of the next generation's population is expected to come from illuminata. That's 28% more babies than basketball Wilt Chamberlain was able to produce, and infitity% more than comedian Tom Green. Restricting access below illuminata's pants will result in a major population decline, not to mention the overall hapiness of the female population.
Volvo might want to restrict access to your car parts, but do you really want to restrict access to illuminata, to the future?
The car industry is only welding car hoods because they are being paid to do so. The people industry depends on illuminata, yet they want to stop illuminata out of jealousy. What a shame, the people industry never even considered what catastrophic effects that not allowing illuminata to breed might just have.
This is much more than just an equal access issue, this is an issue of the survival of mankind. Tell your friends. Tell your wife. Tell everybody that you want illuminata to breed. Tell them that you want humanity to have a future.
