PSX Emulator Performance Investigated
An anonymous reader writes "AnandTech took a look at console emulators (ePSXe as well as a preview of a GameCube emulator) and how the latest ATI and NVIDIA cards perform at emulating. The author also compares Intel and AMD CPUs and their impact on ePSXe emulation performance. It turns out that emulating PSX games is pretty pixel shader intensive, as pixel shaders are required to emulate a lot of the PSX's effects."
Okay, I admit that there are some really stupid girls out there. I know I've had some "stupid girl" moments. But even when a girl knows something, 9 times out of 10, she gets blown off too. I haven't looked at the file yet but I have a suggestion for you guys.
Rather than make fun of these girls, why not help them out and teach them a thing or two. I hear a lot of you complain that your gf/wife doesn't get into the car thing-maybe if you took the time to explain/teach them, they'd enjoy it just as much you do.
Since people have taken the time to explain things to me, I love the car scene. I can't wait to start work on a car for me, go to the track, SEMA and all that stuff. So just remember, not all girls are stupid, in fact you'll find a lot of girls that DO know something about cars (oh wait, you would actually have to listen to the girl to realize this!). Don't just put this stereotype on all of us "stupid girls."
Sorry if this sounds a little bitchy or whatever but I'm sick of people assuming this type of stuff. I've tried to hold conversations only to get blown off b/c the guys assume I don't know anything. The majority of the time I'll say something, no one pays attention or says I'm wrong, only to have a guy say the EXACT samething and somehow it's now credible. But this is just my 2 cents.
