Apple Tests Well in Education

wongaboo writes "Business Week has some interesting insights into Apples in schools. I remember when I was in K-6 an Apple was about the only computer you could find. Then in high school there were some PC's around but it was still mostly Apple. In college is was just the reverse: all PC's and no Apples. Now they are giving kids in high school a laptop when they show up; will it be an Apple? Either way, it makes me want to be a kid again."

    Skills?

If you go to a job interview and say "I only have mac skills" they most likely will scoff and the interview is over... back in the real world "mac skills" only cut it in design houses, and only then if your a designer. Sad but true.

Did you always have this feeling in the back of your mind that you were a homosexual, or did you wake up one day and realize that this was the way you are?

I like to upgrade my PCs. Usually one piece at a time. Maybe the motherboard, processor and memory all at once, but everything else is done as I want to. My primary use for windows is playing games. I might listen to a little music, but 99% of what I use it for is related to gaming. I know this is a tired issue, but it is an issue. I use linux for everything else. It runs flawlessly on my hardware. There is nothing that a Mac can offer me other than an inflated price tag.
