Dish Network & Viacom Settle Their Differences
weshart writes "I haven't yet seen anyone mention the fact that CBS and other Viacom channels are back on DishNetwork. They've been unavailable for the past day and a half, as was reported earlier. No word on the details of the agreement; and the DishNetwork announcement doesn't say anything about whether or not they'll be raising their rates."
Sad, but true.
Here's more.
Viacom? Dish? What are these things? I wouldn't know because I don't have a tv. Gave it up years ago. You should too. Really. Get rid of that idiot box. I did. Or did I mention that already? What?
The worst terrorist incident in recorded history just occurred in Madrid and you people are talking about TV channels?!?! My GOD, people, GET SOME PRIORITIES!
Than again, I hate all tickers/corner ads.
No you're not the only one annoyed. I have satellite (DirectTV) and the first time I saw it scroll I missed the first part of the message and thought it pertained to me. I was about ready to call and raise a fuss. Then I saw it again and realized it was only Dish that was affected. Relief.... then after seeing it over and over....annoyance.

This is why everyone needs to vote for nader in the upcoming elections. Its not that he is that great its just that at this point both the Democrats and the Republicans have been bought by big business. Its time to put it to an end... that is all that I care about. Companies do whatever they want now. When did entertainment become "you will like because we offer it to you and you have no choice." I miss original programming and creativity. Have you listened to today's music (same goes for the TV i.e., reality TV)? The industry tries their best not to let it change why? because then the market would be unpredicibly and they might lose money. anyway I'm done, just vote for nader... or at least read his positions at www.votenader.com they are good democracy doesn't work, over half the county's population is below average
