DARPA Grand Challenge Updates

GraffitiKnight writes "After only 1 team managed to successfully navigate the DARPA Qualifying course, DARPA has rewritten the rules to let almost everyone compete. The 6WD chassis we're using is one of the most bump-tolerant platforms around. It can go over railroad ties at top speed without problems and without going airborne. The center of gravity is low.

I'm curious- what sort of shocks were you using? I'm creating a a robot for a local battlebot-style tournament, and I'm in need of some heavy-duty yet lightweight shocks. It's for a... let's say... "creative" new type of weapon :)
