    How is that offtopic? They're the first OEM to actively make a large-scale Linux commitment. It's Funny. Laugh. Unlike Dell's wussy on-again-off-again "commitment", I don't think this one is going away. All I said was that they were the FR1ST one to do that. And they are. So eat my shorts man.

    And at least leave a post for ONE MINUTE before you editors mod it offtopic, please. That, or get a real job. And stop pimping Apple's closed source stuff so hard on here, we've all twigged to the fact that this site is RIGGED.

    So quit it. Get some ethics. Be fair. Try to see both sides of an issue.

    It's sad you have to get schooled in ethics by an AC.

    Okay let me get this straight -
    your religion doesn't allow the viewing of naked women but it does allow the blowing up of innocent women and children all in the name of the cause.

    You think IBM and Sun aren't "in it" for the cash? The employees of those companies want to make money. The fact that IBM and Sun come off as more knowledgeable regarding Linux/Unix (whatever point you were trying to make) only shows that they're more well-prepared to make money.

    A company exists to make money. Any humanitarian efforts a company may pursue are in the interests of making more money.
