Clippy was a pain in the ass to get rid of, and he was everywhere.
You must not be very bright. If you couldn't figure out how to exclude him in the original install you could always get rid of him later by modifying the install. If you didn't want to go to that extreme just right click on him and say Hide. I swear Mac users must be real simpletons if they can't figure out how to remove clippy.
