People with real l337 speak names?

An anonymous reader writes "I'm considering naming my first-born child either Br4d or J4n37, depending on gender. My wife isn't too keen on the idea but there's plenty of time left to persuade her. Anyway, it had me wondering whether there are any people out there with real l337 speak given names (or even just a digit in their name). Do you know of any? Other than people saying your dad is a l4m3r, What are the possible pitfalls of having a digit in your name? Is it legal to have a digit in a name? Am I guaranteeing my child becomes a misfit? Am I the misfit?" Ask Jennifer 8. Lee.

He's gotta be about 85 years old. I don't know where he's from but he talks with an accent. I only know his name 'cause it's tattooed on his arm, it's pretty sweet.

Are you a pretty aware person or more an Asperger-syndrome type? To the point, do you ever find that people have difficulty taking you seriously?

I mean, it's kind of a fucked up thing to do, to put a numeral in your name.

I'm sure you had your reasons, but all things being equal, if I had two candidates (for friendship, sex, employment, charity, etc.) who both looked pretty good, except one decided to add a numeral to his name mid-life, I'd probably pass up J0oe.

Was this an intentional move to create distance between you and the world? I am really really curious.

Perhaps that's because he wasn't a slave at all. He voluntarily signed a contract that he then tried to circumvent. Using the word "slave" in that context is loathsome no matter who is using it.
