Best Images Yet Of Saturn's Moon Titan

DoraLives writes "During recent commissioning observations of a new instrument designed for a completely different purpose, the European Southern Observatory managed to grab the best imagery yet of Saturn's largest moon. Although the imagery bears more than just a passing resemblance to some of the quainter maps of other planets there's no denying the superb, sub tenth arcsecond, resolution of the new images. And of course, if that's not good enough, they're sending a a little something to land on Titan next January. Should be interesting."

      .... and time has revealed to me, that yes, the parent post is indeed the first post.

      I would like to congratulate the Supreme Council of Attack Trolls (SCAT) for the support they have given me in the previous well crafted trolls with proper english in them.

      Also, rise up, independant trolls, and defeat the lame and tired GNAA. They have become stale and repugnant, not a bastion of creativity and wit they claim to be.

    Using your definitions:

    Endor is not a moon and the DeathStar is?

    Although the DeathStar does have an atmosphere cause teh stormtroopers can breath on it.

    But on a more serious note: you are crazy.

    The definitions of planet, moon, asteroid have more to do with their relationship to each other and within the Solar system then their composition.

    By your definition, Halley's comet is a moon or a planet depending on how you define atmosphere and the Sun is a Gas Giant?
