Olsen Twins Sue Acclaim For Unpaid Royalties

filtur writes "The Olsen twins (that got your attention) are suing video game maker Acclaim for royalties regarding their Olsen twins branded video games. Acclaim has apparently run the brand into the ground." Once dubbed "the most powerful young women in Hollywood," the money involved seems almost trivial by comparison to even their individual net worths, but it'll be interesting to see how this turns out.

I'm not really sure who to root for here... I mean, on one side, you have the foul emanations of the excrement of Satan himself, and on the other side, you have the Olsen Twins.

This winds up kind of like rooting for the Nazis in a RTCW match...

Just on the surface, you gotta side with the hot twins. Acclaim could've easily made half decent games and plopped the MK&A brand on it. Olsen Twins Bedazzled, Olsen Twins Music Trivia, Olsen Twins Pictionary. No one was looking for Halflife level Olsen Twins games, but Acclaim, as usual, screwed it up by releasing drek. In thier defense though, Acclaim has released nothing but crap since 1998 so maybe the twins should've seen it coming.

You must be a young un if you think Acclaim has only been released crap since 1998.

Of course maybe you made a typo and meant 1988. In which case you'd be spot on correct.

Star Trek and the Olsen Twins having something remotely in common.

The only fans they have are skinny, pimply, horny mid-teen boys sitting alone in their parents' basement's?

Of course I refer only to Star Trek Enterprise... I can't argue that the age of the fans of TOS, TNG, or DS9 is limited only to mid-teens... Voyager is up for debate though.
