China Plans Surveillance System for Internet Cafes
nasty writes "According to Interfax China, China will install a special surveillance system in order to prevent 'unhealthy information and websites'. All internet cafes in China will have installed the new system by the end of 2004. This according to China's Ministry of Culture (MOC). The system requires the customers personal information, such as name, age, and their national citizen identification number, before they are allowed to log onto the Internet." Hello, my name is Xiang, a resdent of China. I cannot use last name the goverment watch us and will put me in camp if they find me writing this.
Early in 2002, goverment start watching internet cafe and arresting people who not speak nice about goverment. We try to hide where we come from with openbsd and secret tunnels but goverment find our computer and put keyboard logger on so we have all typed data log. They read it and get our keys!
We have to go underground because goverment look for us to put us in camp and make us think like a good Chinese citizen. We don't like goverment but they make us obey or put us in camps. then we have to make things which western people buy in store like walmart and best-buy and other place sell hitech thing.
we like hitech thing but no want to work in camp to make. want democracy! not US democracy, that be just capitalism with no care for working people.
My friend Chiang read good amarican book by mr chomsky. mr. chomsky very smart and respected man here among people. Chiang was caugt with book and sent to camp for correction, that now 4 year ago.
I miss Chiang.
I think I may even get in camp so I can see Chiang. I miss him. So we have cafe with internet and we need more secretness because government is watching.
In fact dr. Yu-Yee, famos scientis say that Chinese people need more freedom. he was found by goverment and put in camp. I wonder if it same camp as Chiang. I miss Chiang. they can maybe be in camp together making happy electronoc for western people. be happy! maybe mows or keyboard made by dr Yu-Yee or Chiang.

dr Yu-Yee miss to but not as much as Chiang. He and me would go hunt duck with stones! Not hit many but still hunting. In fact we hit no duck, but still call it hunting! One time Chiang throw rock at duck and it hit tree and bounce and hit Chiang in face! hahaha!

then goverment worker from Ministry of Rocks see us and chase us! we got away but good thing or we be in camp for 3 year for Rock Abuse Re-education. Maybe that where Chiang is in camp for..

So why should China be any different, they want censorship and we have no right to tell them its wrong when we are doing the same thing. We log and tap every phone due to the patriot act.

The international slaughter of Christians continues unabated, while the left implies to all that will listen that it is somehow their own fault... Furthermore, the primarily Christian aid associations worldwide bear the overwhelming burden of trying to care for, protect and feed the worlds impoverished. While the left yells and shakes fists at them for "pushing christianity" on ... someone? Perhaps I'm dense, but I don't see whey you're so upset at all those evil, bible thumpin' christians who are out to take away your basic liberties by a-goin' to church on Sunday...
Please let us know precisely how anyone is trying to "push christianity" on you. Perhaps non-Christians whom you mistake for Christians are. Please be clear. "Well, just 'cause!" doesn't count as a cogent argument...
The fact is; God doesn't need anyone's help to "push" anything on you, or anyone. Perhaps there are a few who think so (their God is a bit feeble?), but they are generally harmless (how much damage can they do to you, yelling that the End Is Near from a street corner?)
Perhaps looking under rocks for christians is to avoid searching for some of the real causal agents behind the evil being wrought against innocents in our societies? Lock away all those evil christians; do you think you'll see a sudden, precipitous drop in rape, murder, and general carnage?
Please, enlighten us.
