Growing Teeth with Stem Cell Technology
davidoff404 writes "Lost a tooth lately? Well, a natural cure may be at hand. The BBC is reporting on a grant awarded to researchers at King's College, London, which they say will allow them to develop a technique for growing natural replacement teeth. Using recently developed techniques, stem cells can be programmed to develop into teeth, and then inserted into the gap in a patient's jaw. According to the BBC, the research has already been successfully performed on mice, and clinical trials on humans should begin within two years."
This blasphemous stemcell science won't be tolerated in the righteous US.
Vote.
Look, people doing useful stuff with stem cells. Too bad the supposedly most advanced scientific nation in the world decided to ban stem cells because little congregated cells are considered humans(but men sent off to die and the innocents they kill with their bombs are not).
No wonder the rest of the world can't figure out what people see in Bush.
Ya, that evil Bush, he won't let us have any fun with fetusses! Damn right-wing religious nut-cases! We can't possible use stem cells from the donor's own bone marrow, because... uhhm... Well, just 'cause!

Bush isn't against stem cells. He just doesn't want innocent babies killed to obtain the cells when there are ways to get them with out killing a baby. The stem cell research in and of itself doesn't conflict with Christian morals. Abortion DOES conflict with moral values, like it or not. I also find that peoples opinions change on Abortion once they have kids. THINK about it.
