Cry To Beat Iris Scanners

An MP who volunteered to take part in the UK ID card trials says the iris scanner used is uncomfortable and made his eyes water... The water in his eyes actually stopped the scanner from working, and it seems long eyelashes and hard contact lenses could fox it too... So we're going to have a system that is derailed by a few tears and fluttering eyelashes?"
Why is slashdot trying to skirt the law all the time? Here, HydrogenAudio, K5, and many other open source places it's like the law doesn't exist, or it exists only to be thwarted. Evil people deserve what they get.

Another one came today from Microsoft Corporation. I installed it. I must have installed about 100 of them so far. Microsoft always sends these critical patches to my e-mail as soon as there is a problem with Windows. Some days I get 3 or 4 such patches. I always apply them. Why. Computers are fun but there is a lot of maintainance to apply patches. Those hackers are bad. I would like to ask the people here, why don't you do something to improve this situation? As a newbie I would like to say that it may be fatiguing some times installing all those patches. When it will be fixed?
