Privacy in the Woods?
Rorschach1 asks: "I work with a local Search and Rescue team, and for some time I've been thinking about the possibility of installing sensors at a few critical trail junctions in the local back country. The sensors would detect passing hikers and report timestamps to an Internet gateway in near real-time. When a hiker goes missing, this information could be very valuable in determining where search efforts should be directed.
However, I've spent enough time on Slashdot to know that whenever you start monitoring or tracking people and their activities, someone's going to get upset. So I'd like to hear from the tinfoil hat brigade - what are your objections to such a system, and how might your concerns be addressed?"
Everyone deserves the right to P2P in the woods without monitoring!

"A pedophile and a young boy are walking into the woods at dusk.
'This is spooky,' says the boy.
'Yes, isn't it?' says the man.
Then as night truly begins to fall:
'Now I'm really getting scared,' says the boy.
'How do you thing I feel? I going to have to walk out of here alone.'"

Q: How many niggers does it take to ruin the country?
A: 2.
How do you mean? the only one in position to do that is Colin Powell. The other non-white one is that spic Rice, but she's not black. You'll have to admit, the only ones really ruining the country right now are crackers.
You are proof of that.
Have you ever noticed that all these terrorist videos are encoded in Windows Media format? First of all, how do these sand niggers know how to use a computer? Secondly, all the videos are of such poor quality that you can barely tell what is going on (like the video of Daniel Pearle). Unless Americans are afraid of large, pixelated blocks, these videos are not working.
Give me a fucking 200MB uncompressed AVI, then we'll be talking.
