Pre-Employment Skill Set and Aptitude Tests?

(We currently have no such tests.) For those that work in companies that require pre-employment tests, have you seen an impact in the quality of technical employees hired?"

You graduated from High School 25 years ago.
That would put you in your early 40's.
And yet you write:"NOT!"?
Shouldn't you have abandoned this immature idiom sometime around 1990 or so, if not earlier?
