    It is an error. The MVP only allows hardware decoding. However, there is no reason why one couldn't fit an appropriate PCI card to allow hardware encoding too.

    Yeah, like send stinking, sloppy feces through USPS to them. That's what I did when my girlfriend at the time starting seeing this other guy behind my back. Haha, I bet the look on his face when he dug his hand into my choice turds was priceless!

    I own a small development shop. Here is how I handle it -

    (1) Build a static library containing the GPL'd code you want.
    (2) Link against it.
    (3) Don't tell anyone what you did and claim the code is 100% yours.
    (4) Profit!!
