TiVo Will Stream Content From The Web
Patik writes "According to an article at the NY Times, 'new TiVo technology... will allow users to download movies and music from the Internet to the hard drive on their video recorder.' This is TiVo's next big push for subscribers after being dumped by DirecTV Tuesday. Blockbuster, Netflix, and Real are also looking into distributing feature-length movies over the web."

Well perhaps he was trolling, but I concur in every way and there's no other place to vent this side of the story. The media is disgusting on this. Even Google News is clogged full of this idiotic crap about how great Ray Gun was. The man was a fucking idiot from his earliest days and those around him were vicious criminals and still are.
He funded Osama Ben Laden for crying out loud. That's a fact. The drooling apes that now talk about justified torture are the same assholes who created the problem and Ray Gun is the figurehead for their, sadly appropriate, insane campaign to destroy the US.
And the really weird thing about the media slant is that when you look at polls you see that the majority of people didn't think much of him. I saw one asking what his econmic legacy was. With four positive choices, the majority had voted for "raised the defecit." Then a poll on whether he should appear on coins came back negative. So, they rephrased it and it still came back negative. What the hell is up with the media? Sorry to take this space Slahsdot, but somebody needs to speak up and say something. This man was a vicious asshole and dangerous criminal.
