AmigaOS 4.0 Status Report
Mike Bouma writes "Core AmigaOS 4.0 developer Hans-Jörg Frieden has written a status report with regard to the current state of AmigaOS. Various advances have been made since the Developer Pre-release version of AOS4 was completed. Meanwhile AmigaWorld.net has launched a new File Depot portal dedicated to providing and hosting Amiga OS4 files and related resources. A first impressions review and some first user screenshots of the pre-release CD are also available."

But he, Roy and George and everyone else in Kosmic Karma land continue on this worthy and noble journey. Jesus will bring the new Amiga when He Returns for the Second Coming.

+3 funny perhaps.. but interesting??????
sheesh. whats up with the mods these days!
(oh yeah mod me down too. I better put some worthwhole content here, though, with slashdots broken system for punishing the occasional bs writer what does it matter when you can comment just about anything about anything and get the karma back in the unforeseeable case that it would actually nudge away from 'excellent')
NOW SOME REAL STUFF:
the report has some cool(although _necessary_) stuff in it.. like udma, usb, altivec & etc support shaping up. these things are necessary for it to be a serious contender and alternative so it's good they're getting 'em done...
world was created 5 seconds before this post as it is.
(OK, I know you're a grammar troll but I'll bite).
... ...
Why do you consider this incorrect grammar? The writer obviously considered "AmigaWorld.net" as a single entity (much as one can think of a corporation or government as one 'thing'); thus the proper conjugation is, in fact, "has".
He/she/it has
vs.
They have
It appears you assume "AmigaWorld.net" refers to a plurality of people; either form is correct depending on the interpretation.
This guy goes to the doctor. He's got omelette in his hair, beans down his front, and a french fry stuck up his nose. The doctor says 'You know your problem? You're not eating properly'.
You are not alone. This is not normal. None of this is normal.
