An anonymous reader points to Roblimo's "interesting article about how the U.S. sold out to software patents and the EU should as well." Should be of interest to Europeans, forced as they are "to suffer from willy-nilly software development by individuals who have not been screened, approved, and trained by corporate human resources professionals."

      no problem! i'm just taking the piss out of LAMERS while i can, since my subnet has been unbanned today again! woo! i can AC some more crap!

      for those of you know don't know, the reason why actual FPs are easier is because me and other FPers (like the GNAA for example) get BANNED from posting by SUBNET if they do too many down-modded AC posts in a particular period.

      Apparently I could post from a logged in user, but where's the fun in that? Evidently from the RUBBISH FPs that have come about recently (some even bashing the GNAA) it's clear that most people like me who used get FPs get banned and lose interest.

      Sure, this means that CmdrTaco wins, but I for one don't care, it's his site after all :) but hey, whence the bans are lifted I post again.

    In a shocking announcement this afternoon, GNAA representative lysol demonstrated the XBOX running Microsoft's own Windows CE.NET 4.2 operating system.
    "This is quite an important achievement," lysol began. "By porting Windows CE to XBOX, GNAA will be able to create a beowulf cluster of all XBOXes and use them to recruit more gay niggers. Next step will naturally be porting our GNAAOS framework to the new system, which will allow us to highly increase our gay nigger membership.
    Unlike the Microsoft's custom OS, based on Windows 2000 kernel currently running on the XBOX, with a custom (and somewhat limited API), Windows CE.NET will allow running a whole range of Win32 applications on the XBOX by simply recompiling them. Because the differences between Windows CE.NET Win32 API are minimal, any type of gay nigger software can be easily ported to run on the new platform. GNAA is expecting to begin work on porting GNAAOS framework "real soon now", according to GNAA representative goat-see.

    The contract was awarded to Accenture, formerly Andersen Consulting, over two competing contractors, Lockheed Martin and Computer Sciences (a veritas (cess)pool of evile stock markp FraUDsters). Several industry executives and analysts said that the award surprised them and that Accenture had widely been considered the outside candidate.

    The award also brought controversy. Accenture is incorporated in Bermuda, and some critics attacked the idea of awarding a contract so valuable and important to national security to a company with its headquarters outside the United States.

    After Accenture was named, Representative Lloyd Doggett, a Texas Democrat, suggested the company took advantage of an uneven playing field to win the contract over Lockheed Martin and Computer Sciences.

    A spokesman for Accenture said that the company paid United States taxes.

    Representative Richard E. Neal, a Massachusetts Democrat and a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee, also questioned the award.

    "This decision is outrageous," he said, in a statement. "The Bush administration has awarded the largest homeland security contract in history to a company that has given up its U.S. citizenship and moved to Bermuda. The inconsistency is breathtaking."
