Myth III Gets Fan-Improved Levelbuilding Tools
BladesP9 writes "A group of Myth fanatics have made good on their pledge to create a cross platform tool for the Myth III RTS game engine. FlyingFlip Studios has completed its first stage in the creation of a tool for the Mac/PC game Myth III. The tool, named Ballistic, is based on the old Vengeance code which was released to the public by the game's original publisher back in 2003. The update is native to Macintosh OS X, yet works well on Classic Mac OS, and there's also a version for Windows - many will remember the Myth III game shipped with a very basic tool that was Windows only. This same group is making updates to the Myth III game as well and plan an update to be released shortly."

A Cease and Desist when marius.net was providing downloads of how to bypass the encryption built into the server to keep wanks from crashing games and such. I hardly think any other game server that respects it's players rights to secure play would do any different.
ProjectMagma servers were being hosted from a Public School district. Not really the most UP & UP approach for a group your trying to portray as the "good guys". Very official and community concious.
Anything that does not come out of Project Magma is considered an attempt to split a community. They should keep that in mind when they provide their own Myth2 patches which are riddled with bugs and functionality changes which the players were never consulted on and caused countless problems with past and current maps, scenarios and game types.
Ya... but it's this "clem and blades" who are not doing things right.
Project Magma had done nothing with Myth 3. Now that someone has done something with it, they (and obviously you by association) are pissed because someone took a poopie in their sandbox.
