Meshcube: A New Mesh-Routing Wireless Device

jazzgroove writes "The Meshcube is a new wireless mesh routing device based on open source technologies. It's quite feature rich with support for VPN and IPSEC which come from the meshcube distribution. Apparently you can buy the device as a kit and build it yourself or buy it pre-built.     I realize that this is horribly off-topic, but I feel that this question needs answering.

    Now, to be fair, I have only recently (last 3 weeks) started reading slashdot again, after a several month haitus. That said, I may not be completely in the know about all things that have been occuring here. Also, my browsing habits in the past may not have been as vigilant as they are now, and my increased curiosity may indeed be the only reason for my seeing a change in the status quo. However, I have noticed (last week or 2) that there has been a large number of posts that are, quite simply, just assholes trolling. A majority of them are from some trolling group that I shall not name (as naming them would probably validate their pathetic existance in some petty way). My question(s) is this:
    Have other people noticed this as well? Is this a recent development, or has this been going on for [weeks/months/years] and I've just been oblivious? (I am not asking WHY they do this, as I know the answer somehow involves small IQ's, infantile maturity levels, and some form of dick-measuring contest).

    Anyways, I know this question is horribly off-topic, and thus will probably get modded down. Still, I feel that it is worth asking (though no doubt someone will tell me that there is a more appropriate place to ask).
