    One, maybe two, things they have in common are that they almost always talk about the look of the ipod and the high cost of the ipod. It's like the stupid audiophiles, it doesn't matter how the music sounds, its about the design of the unit and the 'flavor' of the music.

    It's simple enough that even my non-techie friends have figured how to use 90% of the functionality within 5 minutes. That's impressive design.

    No, that's a lack of functionality. There are a lot of idiots out there. If they can work something in 5 minutes, it's not a particularly clever device.

    Yup, that's a reliable source right there. A test with 18 subjects. WOW, that just blows away a decade of professional studio use of ATRAC equipment used to record the music you rip to MP3!
