Mozilla Gains on Internet Explorer
Alizarin Erythrosin writes "PCWorld is reporting that Internet Explorer's share of the browser market has dropped 1%, the 'first noticeable decline since WebSideStory began tracking the browser market in late 1999.' With all the exploits and security holes in IE recently, it's no wonder! Google News has related stories, including many on the recently disclosed (and patched!) bug in Mozilla on Win2k/XP machines (documented on Slashdot on Thursday)"
Yet another webbrowser just so that rich people in the western world can enjoy useless and trivial pleasures such as surfing the net. It makes me sick. Surely it's wasteful to create yet another browser when there are so many of them already. Shouldn't we take care of all the people of the world who don't even have a copy of Mosaic, people who rarely, or never, get to surf the net? There are so many problems we should solve first, before wasting taxdollars on things like this.
