Stargate Atlantis Tomorrow
BadDream writes "I read an old slashdot article about Stargate Atlantis comming this summer. Well its summer, and guess what starts this friday." You can also enter to win a walk-on role on SG1, but I call first dibs, no cuts.
comming this summer. Well its summer
Ah, so all I have to do to get a story accepted is include terrible spelling, grammar, and punctuation!
That might explain a few things.

Is that better? I swear I closed the tag, but accidents happen to everyone.
I had but a simple dream, to destroy all humans.
Yeah, I will fucker. At least I got the record for the most fp's that didn't get modded to fuck.
7 in a row motherfucker fag trolls. All +5's.
Fuck you and die bitches.
Not really.
SG1 seems to flop back and forth between being cool and stupid. Most of the problem is the cast, I think. They're just really bad actors. I mean, really amazingly bad.
If they can get someone who can bloody act on Atlantis... well. We'll see.
Atlantis. . ! I mean, wow! What seeds are being planted? How broken or correct will the message be? Fascinating!
It always amazes me how the Slashdot crowd can be so incredibly resistant to real knowledge and yet will salivate when you slap a bright 'fiction' label on an idea. Such nervous and delicate constitutions!
The subconscious drives one to be fascinated with certain subjects for certain reasons. I wonder what those reasons could be. . ?
The training wheels have to come off eventually, so you better start growing a thicker skin. The sooner the better, because shit is crashing through these days with ever-increasing frequency.

Stargate: SG1 does not have a loyal fanatical following and never did, Michael Shanks aka Daniel Jackson does. When the series was bought from Showtime Michael Shanks rightly saw the series had played itself out and left the show. Despite the same writers with larger budgets the ratings plummeted. And with that plummeted the hope of the producers to spin thes series back onto the big screen after a year on the Sci-Fi Channel.
It was not great scripts or high production values that kept the show alive, it was fanatical female following for one actor. That actor was brought back at all cost. And the series continues.
The writing hasn't changed. Majority of episodes are filler for the few episodes of story arc each season. (Asgard story arc, Go'auld story arc, Replicator story arc) Most other shows = Visit rigid society of humans based on some retarded moment of earth history, wince, repeat.
I still watch the show, but hey I also watched Andromeda, simply because there's no real SF on TV anymore. At least I understood the fanatasism for Babylon 5 even though I didn't care for it.
