ICANN Study Slams Verisign

Dinglenuts writes "ICANN has just released what I'm sure is a completely neutral and unbiased report, condemning Verisign's Sitefinder service for running afoul of 'community standards and caus[ing] harm to individual users and enterprises.' Seeing as how ICANN is currently being sued by Verisign for making them take down Sitefinder, this opinion can be considered less than revolutionary."

    Tim Berners-Lee [w3.org] saw the founding of the web as a world wide endeavour surely a body as important as ICANN should be under the ageis of the UN?

    If you're trying to sound like Mr. Big Vocabulary, at least spell aegis correctly. If you can't do that, then try vocabulary more at your level, such as control, sponsorship, or even auspices if you want to go up a notch and sound more pompous.

    You might want to sound out your sentences lest you sound like a grammatically-challenged person. You've also forgotten to terminate your sentence with a period.

    I note no photographic likenesses here on /. so you are also faceless.

    I'm glad I cannot perceive your stench, virtually or by any other methods.

    I would suggest counting to 10 as well before clicking the Submit button as it would possibly leave you less open to virtual ridicule. I'd even go so far as to suggest clicking Preview rather than Submit as this permits an even greater margin of anti-troll protection.

    Have a nice whatever it is in your current time zone.

    ICANN is important because there's a website watching them? There's websites for watching asian girls pee on each other too but I'd hardly call it important to the existence of the internet. (Then again, it might be the very reason for the same...)

    Probably in Asia. Thailand seems a good place to start, although I'd be careful cause that look on their face could because it burns when they pee.
