Oracle To Add R&D Centers In China

stoborrobots writes "Reuters is reporting that the big O is planning to open new R&D centres in china. Initially aiming at the domestic Chinese market, there is potential to resell the technologies developed beyond the borders... Is this the next wave of outsourcing?"

    At least now it's not just the rest of the world that has to suffer with Oracle's shitty product, Chinese get them too!

    Thank YOU. Only 50 comments so far in this thread, and already you have made me feel better about my stupid technology career, and my skin color.

    Anyone who has played online games should know this guy is correct. My experience on battle.net is that maps coming out of Asia generally involve 8 guys shooting at 8 separate monsters, with the caveat that if anyone fucks up the game is over for everyone.

    In other words, the Chinese idea of teamwork is a chain of weak links. Cultural change does not come quickly, either. Just look at the blacks: 400 years and still working on literacy.

    As an Indian, I find a LOT wrong with that. A 100 bucks says the Pakistani pees in the sauce in my Pizzas (unless I don't tell him I'm Indian, don't disclose my name...)
