Virgin Accuses Apple of Abusing Monopoly
worm eater writes "The Register reports that VirginMega (Virgin Group's online music venture in France) is asking the French antitrust authorities to force Apple to license the FairPlay DRM. If France agrees with Virgin, will this be a blessing in disguise for Apple, making their DRM format the defacto standard, or will it be the downfall of the mighty iTunes Music Store?"
To get fucked.
I sent this to their webmaster:

I find it somewhat humorous that on this page:
http://www.microsoft.com/seminar/events/security.
the photo you use is that of a Macintosh PowerBook G4 15" (with the Apple logo on the back of the screen Photoshop-ed out), on a page about security summits and programs. While I don't want to get into a pissing contest about which OS is more secure, it's mildly humorous to find a Mac being used to advertise Microsoft's security, even if it is subtle.

I'll try and keep an eye on it and see if they decide to change the photo.....
Indeed. The trouble seems to come from this ugly routine in their JavaScript module:
...you never want a virgin to accuse you of anything!
And Apples killing of the clones is one of the reasons I am typing this on a Dual Athlon MP system rather than a PPC based system. Apples cost too much and they do not have a reliable supplier for their newest chip, the G5.
No wonder one can't find a virgin nowadays!
That's an absurd. Apple should be prosecuted for assault, indecent exposure and... oh wait... is The Apple and The Virgin...
