Everyone knows solar cars are the savior of the world. Fast. Safe. Inexpensive. Safe. Good looking. Safe. Now, all that's left is to whine enough that the government gets involved and removes those eeeeevil SUVs (and now mini-vans) from the nations roads.

Awhile back the Economist said 50 years and billions of dollars of fusion research has produced the fundemental constant 30. This is the number of years before we'll have commercial fusion power.
